Backyard Deck Build
This project followed a full build sequence across several weeks: layout and footings, framing, joist installation, and finally decking boards laid with consistent gaps for drainage.
Building into October meant working around early frosts — one more reason footings, hardware, and lumber handling matter as much as the visible finish. The result is a straight, squeak-free deck ready for years of use.
